Moruya SLSC Special Nippers program

Moruya SLSC Special Nipper programMoruya Surf-lifesaving club is an inclusive and welcoming club, which provides facilities, equipment and volunteers to assist people access the beach who may have Additional Needs or disability.

Same Wave is a beach program run every Saturday in the first term of each year. Our program caters for young people who have Additional Needs, and focuses on each person’s ability.

Enjoyment, fun and individual achievement are the focus of the program for everyone involved.

Volunteers are integral to the successful running of our Same Wave program and we welcome our surf club members, and members from other surf clubs, to help facilitate our program. A volunteer in-service and program outline is conducted each season.

A little bit about Moruya Surf Life Saving Club

Moruya Surf Life Saving Club has provided a safe swimming environment on Moruya beaches since 1932. Whilst active in all areas of competition, we are also strong supporters of our local community. The club patrols Moruya Beach from November-April each year.
