The Moruya Surf Life Saving Club annual general meeting has been set for 10.30am on Sunday 30 July 2017.
Notices of Motion to be considered at the annual general meeting are to be submitted to the club secretary no later than 10.30am on Thursday 29 June 2017.
Nominations for candidates to be elected as Officers of the Club are also called for the following positions.

Nominations must be made in writing, signed by two members of the club and accompanied by the written consent of the nominee (which may be endorsed on the form of the nomination); and delivered to the club Secretary no later than 10.30am on Sunday 23 July 2017.

The Moruya Surf Life Saving Club Management Committee meeting held on 9 May 2017 resolved to give notice of a proposed new by-law Y-1 Year of Service.
Proposed motion:
That new By-law Y-1 – Year of Service be inserted as follows:
Y-1 Year of Service
No Member shall be credited with ‘ year of service’ unless having performed a minimum of ten (10) hours of patrol in that season or that member is exempted by SLSA regulations or the Club Constitution, by reason of holding a particular Office or being a Long Service Member.
No Reserve Active Member shall be credited with ‘year of service’ unless having performed a minimum of ten (10) hours of patrol in a season.
Our club is able to offer the following training sessions. Thanks in advance to Mike Hallahan, Peter Bootes and Marco Cardinale; without your time and expertise the sessions would not be possible.
All members are encouraged to participate and complete as many certificates as they wish. Our club needs more members proficient in these awards. Also note: Requalification for Bronze Medallion holders 20/11 and 11/12, 9am.
These sessions will be held in the clubhouse.

Moruya Surf Life Saving Club has provided a safe swimming environment on Moruya beaches since 1932. Whilst active in all areas of competition, we are also strong supporters of our local community. The club patrols Moruya Beach from October-April each year.
